The video really made me teary-eyed the first time I view it... Really touching... and now I really don feel like graduating... T______T
Anyway, countdown : 3 more days until the FINAL FINAL PAPER, and 4 more days until I balik kampung... WooHoo...

Burning the midnite oil~

Since I wasn't sleepy, so I decided to do a little revision for my exam. I move to the living room.. and it was already 12am... My housemates are all asleep by then..
The house was kinda quiet... so I turn on the tv..
But end up, I couldnt concentrate on my studies.. Lolzz
So.. I was eyeing the tv - notes - tv - tv - notes... @.@


Got hungry, made myself chocolate milkshake.. ^^

And then I stayed up n watched until all the tv station shut down~ zzzz

Sorry Sorry study week~~

Study week has almost come to an end... but for me... Its only beginning.. ^^
My exam starts on the second week of exam T__T and ends on the final week... T______T
And the thing is, I only taking 2 exam papers this sem...

Whatever... enjoy exam life while I still can, since its probably the last exam I'll be facing.. ^^

OKAY, back to SORRY SORRY...
Well, followed by the Flower Boys flu that I caught months ago... Now I'm catching this super high K-fever thanks to the most adorable, cute, sizzling, smoking, hot, makes-me-drool SUPER JUNIOR!!
I've been listening to their songs repeatedly lately, and have been youtubing all their video clips available.
And this is how I spend my study week.. SJ-ing... lolzz

The last few weeks of my school life

Today is the first day of my study week. My roommates are all busy doing their revision, as for me... I woke up at 1:30pm.. lolzz.. And then I'm FB-ing n blogging here.
Well, no more school life for me from now on, meaning, no more lectures, no more tutorials, no more assignments...
I'm really starting to miss all those... And I was just starting to enjoy my uni life.. huhuhu =(

Blogging in bed!

Its 1.11am right now, n guess wad? I'm actually writing this entry in my bed, on my mobile, and listening to Super Junior at the same time. Thanks to =Baby= for giving me his n95 which has wi-fi function and the music player function was great too as the earpiece has a player remote attached to it. Great, i just got home from a enjoyable supper of tomyam bihun, from a malay stall, the best part? Its's by the beach! Wahaha... It was great hanging out with the girls, as they always update me with all the latest gossips and happenings. Lolz.. Anyway, gotta sleep. Nite.

Quick Update

OK, again, its been months since my last post. Well, I was busy and I was lazy, sorry. =P
Updates? Well, I'm almost done with all my assignments, and there's only 2 more weeks until this sem ends... HOW FAST~ *awww...
Well, TESOL night was organized, but failed, and cancelled. So I'm going for the Edu night instead.. zzzz
Oh, wad I'm excited about is that, i finally learned how to make-up... at least the basics... LOL..
I was amazed at how make up can do to me.. rili enhanced my features a lot..
But now, I'll have to spend more, cos, tml, I'm going to shop for cosmetics and make up brushes... zzz..

So, my tips for beginners like me, the essentials of a beginner make-up kit :

1. Foundation / BB cream
2. Blusher
3. Compact Powder / Loose Powder (they're the same thing, just "compact" n "loose")
3. Eyeliner
4. Mascara
5. Brownish nude eyeshadow

and don forget,

6. make up remover

These are the basics, u'll know wad to get for urself to expand ur collection once u start practicing make-up. =)

Just came back from Queensbay mall. It was a erm... how to say... harvestful trip?? LOL
Ok, I just bought a slimming package from Slimming Sanctuary and was delighted! As it was really a great deal. So, the package includes,

Ooooh.... I'm just so head over heels for these cuties!! Been dreaming, fantasizing them a lot lately.. Cant get them out of me head! Darn! 23 years old and still naively falling for drama hotties~ duh... *slap slap* wake up!??

Typical ME!

I'm so gaining weight, and losing money. Darn!
I've been eating so much lately, I just cant help it! My right hemisphere tells me to stop eating, starve myself, but my left hemisphere is craving for food!!
And I'm such a shopaholic! Even when I'm not shopping in malls, I had to shop online, I just had to! My cash is flowing so rapidly away from me... wu wu wu.. And with the TESOL prom night coming up, I'm broke n fat! Shit!
Talking about the prom night, I'm just so excited!! WooHoo.... finally, a night for us, Tesolianzzz.... =) and the theme of the prom night is Walk Of Fame, yahoo! So who should I dress up as? Britney? Miley? Hillary? Paris?? Or Beyonce`? LOL... I can hardly wait for that night to come... =P

p/s:But before that, I had to lose weight, and ask mommie for ker-ching!!!

Back from the Grave~

Wow... it's been ages since my last post..
ok, I confess, sorry, I got lazy~ LOL
Anyway, quick updates bout wad happened to me this few months..
OK, my observation ended smoothly and I began to really enjoy my holiday...
Now, I'm back to school for 3 weeks, and I'm enjoying my final sem here, quite a lot. Haha...
Seriously, I'm beginning to like going to school. I guess going to school kills my time here faster, I really want this sem to end ASAP.. Lol
I hope this sem would be the best sem in USM!! EnJoY~~

I met up with a friend who I lost contact for years...
I'm really happy we're talking again, cos I really thought he had forgotten bout me~ =)

And, I am now undergoing a STRICT diet!
I really need to get in shape in time for my friends' convocation. Gotta look good for the cameras! Haha...
Hopefully, I can resist the temptations of all the good food that's coming at me~ =)

The good old days~~

Its my second week in school and its getting more and more boring...
For this two whole weeks, I've done a lot of sit-ins. I've met students from all kinds of classes, from the intellectuals to the weakest and naughtiest class.
This two whole weeks, seeing all these students and all the school and class scenarios, really remind me a lot of the days when I was in school.

Last week, the principal introduce me to the weakest class in school. The students in this class are not only weak in their studies, they also have some issues with their attitude. So every morning before the first period, me and my internship partners will have to give them a brief motivation talk.

Few days ago, I gave them a talk, well, actually, I told them a true story about myself. I told them that when I was their age, I was a naughty girl in school as well, I was even worse because I was always sleeping in class and also skipping classes as well. And then I told them how I realise the importance of study and how I end up being who I am now. I hope my story will motivate them more or less a little bit, because, honestly, I was trying very hard to hold back my tears while telling them my story. I hope they didn't notice me doing so.

While I was being the watchman for an exam class today, I saw some students looking here and there, really reminds me of myself when I was in exams, I was acting the same as well when I have no clues how to answer the questions.
I also notice some girls trying to cheat, but then, I decided to "close an eye" because I understand very well why they have the urge to cheat... Lolz... (please don report me to the principal)

Well, there's still two more weeks to go... So far, I'm enjoying my internship cos it's quite relaxing, nothing much for me to do.
All is well, except for the long boring hours I have to stay in school because it really is TOO relaxing. =)

Holiday + Observation in school

Holiday so far... still ok, not as great as i expected.
I got home last thursday, and then, I got the news that, haih... My mom is going outstation on Sunday for 3 days - means, no pocket money for 3 days and tons of house chores for me .. boohoo!
And then, my sister is also going outstation (Miri -> Brunei -> Bintulu) for her college roadshow - means, no free ride and no free meals... =(
The worst thing is, my baby dear is ALSO going outstation to KL for 1 whole week... =(
Leaving poor me all alone in Sibu.. what's the point of coming back then... wu wu wu... =(

Yesterday was my first day in school, I expect my first day to only need to report myself, make appointments and arrangements with the school..
But the principal was sooo strict, she set the rules for me!
She expect me to come to school everyday from 6:45 - 12:45pm. When my course outline only requires me to come 2 days a week for 5 weeks. Aaargh!!!

Well, the observation I'm doing right now, it costs no marks at all, so I decided to just come to school and do my thing, (facebook-ing, blogging, msn-ing, watch movies) keeping myself in the computer room whole day, waiting for the time to pass... Hope I don get caught! =)

Two of my housemates are graduating this year, so we decided to have a feast at Town Steambot Restaurant, a buffet style steambot+bbq restaurant.

The place is crowded, even on a Monday night.

Another day in Penang >.<

Its wednesday 29 April 2009.. and I am still in Penang!!! Aaargh!!
I should be home by now, and yet with compliments from AirAsia, I'm still here!
My case?
OK, I booked my flight on the 3rd of March, and my flight at then was scheduled to depart from Penang at 4:05pm and arrive in KL at 4:55pm.
And this Monday, I double checked my flight again online, and found out that my flight has been rescheduled, and I was not notified in any way. So my flight for today was rescheduled to departing Pen at 4:40pm and arriving at 5:30pm.
Oh, I forgot to mention that my flight departing from KL to Sibu was 6:15-8:10pm. The delay of my Pen flight leaves me less than 40 minutes to check in. But lucky I checked in already online.
But then, when I was at the waiting hall today waiting for the Pen flight, guess wad, another DELAY!! ETD 5:15pm ETA 6:00pm! How the hell will I be able to catch my KL-Sibu flight?
So I decided to confronted the AirAsia ground staff about my situation.
In the end, I ended having both my flights being moved to tommorrow's flight... and luckily, they didn't charge me anything for the changes.

The moral of the story is, never arrange your connecting flights so close together.

Not Fast, But damn Furious!!

USM sucks!! I had a terrible day today, thanks to the USM staff, again!
Let me tell you all the dark side of USM, the so-called APEX university (for those who dono wad that stands for, check the web, cos i'm not very sure myself either)
First of all, the staff in my faculty are so f*cking rude. Each time I went to the counter for enquiries or requesting for some forms or documents, the staffs always respond in a very rude manner.
i.e : me :"Erm, good morning, I would like to ask if the observation form is available now?"
staff :" No."
me :"Erm, then, when can I get it?"
staff : "Dono."

Once, I needed to get some documents again from the office, guess wad, 9:30 a.m. and no one's working, not a single soul is in the office, and there was a note at the counter saying :
[Staffs away to attend the funeral of a family member of our staff]
Hello?? Not the funeral of the school chancellor, not the funeral of the dean, not the funeral of a staff.. it the funeral OF a family member OF a staff??
What, so his/her death means public holiday??

What made me furious today is a staff, who happens to be a lecturer as well, he indirectly said something that made me feel intimidated!
me :"Excuse me, I'm going to conduct my observation in Sarawak this sem break, I understand that for those going to Sarawak will need to obtain a letter issued by the JPN. My friends have all gotten the letter but I haven't, so can I have the letter now?"
staff :"You're name is in the 2nd batch of the name list we send to JPN, JPN not yet send back the letters."
me : "But I'm going home next week, and howcome my friends already got the letter but I haven't?"
staff :"how i know?"
me :"Then when will I get the letter?"
staff :"Dono."

And just when I decided to give up asking because he was already showing signs of impatient, so I turned and started to leave, but then, I heard him said something like "Haiya, budak Sarawak, kuat kacau!"

I was so furious!! He had no respect for us Sarawakians at all!

[Sir, FIY, you staffs are the ones having problem doing your job! The school wanted us to do our observation, and 1 more week before the sem break, the documents are still not ready for us??
And I can sense from his tone that, he actually look down on Sarawakian?? What? You think we still live on trees? We have more bungalows than your stinking apartments ok??
And if you still havent made it clear, we, the students, are the ones paying your salary!!]

Bottom line is, these USM staffs should really do something about their working attitude!

And that's my version of not Fast, but damn Furious - USM staffs slow efficiency, and me, very Furious!

One more week to go...

For weeks, the weather here was hell hot! I showered like at least 5 times a day.
Last night, it finally rained, heavily. It rained and rained until this morning.. For the 1st time in weeks, i finally had a good night sleep and woke at 11am just now.
I woke up at 5:50am yesterday morning to do my revision for my final exam. The 1st time in my 3 years uni life I study so hard fo a paper. For wad? Because I hand in a blank answer sheet for a paper i had last week, n I was really really down. So i decided to put some effort in my studies.
And hey, you really do get what you give, for the 1st time, I'm confident enough to say that I think I did well on yesterday's paper. I even gave answers to my coursemates! Before, I'm the one asking for answers and cheating, but it's different this time, and feels kinda great!
Well, the weather, the paper really upped my mood today, and the thought that I'm going home next week makes me hype! Woohoo!!
(i've already started packing like 2 weeks ago)
I missed my family and my baby dear hell lot! 1 more week, and its the end of my 3rd year. Can't hardly wait to go home!!!
